Francia Raisa

In her junior high school season, Raisa started acting. She was a model for advertisements in print as well as appeared in commercials. She appeared as a guest on American Family Journey of Dreams and Over There. Raisa made an appearance in Lil' Romo's music video "My Girlfriend" as Tamy in 2004 and in the music video of Iyaz "So Large". The actress was offered her first leading character a month later, just as beginning her final year of high school. For Bring It On, All or Nothing, Raisa starred alongside Hayden Pannettiere. She also starred as a co-star in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she as Isabel as well as in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. Between July 2008 and the final episode of the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager from June 2013 she played the character of Adrian Lee. In 2009, Raisa was co-starring as Boo in the short film Boo written by David Henrie as well as guest-starring on USA Network TV's In Plain Sight. Raisa made an appearance in Christmas Bounty, a movie that was based on Christmas. She was in the film with Mike "The Miz", Mizanin. Raisa august 2012. Between 2018 and 2022 Raisa appeared as the character Grownish in Freeform, a show executive-produced by the creator of Blackish Kenya Barris. It was her first appearance in four seasons of the series before leaving following her character's death towards the end of the fourth season. She also starred in Freeform's film for 2018 on TV, Life-Size 2, opposite Tyra Banks. In May 2021, Raisa was cast as a character in How I Met Your Mother's spinoff, How I Met Your Father that was launched on Hulu on the 18th of January, 2022. In February 2022, the series was renewed to an additional season of 20 episodes.
